Sub-Millisecond Frequency Hopping & Transmission Security (TRANSEC)

Engineering cryptographic pseudo-random generators to control RF synthesizer hopping sequences across wideband spectrum.

Transmission Security (TRANSEC) Fundamentals

While COMSEC protects the information payload, TRANSEC protects the transmission itself from detection, interception, and electronic jamming. RadioHSM integrates high-speed cryptographic state machines that output 32-bit channel selections every 100 microseconds, dynamically controlling RF synthesizers ahead of adversary tracking receivers.

Synchronized Time-of-Day Key Derivation

Hopping sequences are synchronized across tactical battle groups using GPS-denied atomic clocks (CSAC). RadioHSM combines the master mission key with time-of-day tokens, ensuring all radios hop in exact lockstep without transmitting synchronization beacons that could reveal troop positions.
